Asamushi Aquarium is located just outside Aomori City. It is a great day trip to take with the kids. From Misawa to the aquarium it takes about an hour driving time. They have a dolphin show, indoor tide pools, sea lion feeding and more. The cost is 1000 Yen ($10) for adults and 5oo Yen ($5) for elementary age children and up.
