This video was made by two Americans that were stationed here in Misawa. They created it for a Nature Valley contest and they won! It highlights the great opportunities to get out and see the Northern Japan region. During winter Misawa Air Base outdoor recreation frequently has trips to Hakkoda mountain and if you don't do it you are really missing out!

Yes indeed. You must see Hakkoda even if you are not into flying down the hill on sharp bladed objects. It is beautiful!
