Lapia or the "Fantasy Dome" Mall is located in Hachinohe. The mall is one of the larger shopping outlets around Misawa. They frequently have japanese vendors in the central portion of the mall selling authentic goods. There is also a great gelato (ice cream) shop in the center as well. The fantasy dome portion is a large amusement gaming section where you play all day. The mall has a small food court with ramen, and other japanese foods.

Directions: From the toll road exit the Hachinohe station. Make a right on Hwy 45 and travel straight for about 15 minutes until you come to a T-Intersection with Sega World in front of you. Make a left turn in this intersection and get into the right lane. You will make a right turn at the first opportunity (there will be a barrier separating the lanes of traffic). Travel straight down the road and the Fantasy Dome will be directly in front of you. Just follow the P (parking) signs to your left to park. Enjoy!

I have been reading though the list of shops and malls in and around Misawa. As a visitor with no car, will I be able to walk to the train station from the main gate to get to Hachinoe? thank you
