One of my favorite sushi restaurants in Misawa is the Pink Sushi shop. They have a great variety of dine in and dine out options. You can also order beautiful party platters for any event. My favorites are the shrimp and cucumber roll and the tuna, egg, and lettuce roll (I know weak... :).

Directions: From the Misawa AB main gate travel straight to the second stoplight and turn right. Travel straight through another two stoplights and right past the Misawa City hospital the shop will be on the right across from the Misawa City Water building.

Misawa actually has TWO Pink Sushi restaurants. The other one (my favorite of the two) is located out of the POL gate. To get there, make a left at the third stop light and it's two blocks down on the right. What's even more fun, though is Kappa Sushi (near the McDonald's), which has it's own miniature Shinkansen train sushi delivery system and miniature hamburger sushi. Fun!

I just tried Pink Sushi the other day and loved it! I had the three kinds of shrimp, the butter crab, and the grilled mussels. Everything was fantastic but I struck out big time with the crab. It was wrapped in seaweed and I just couldn't get it down. I plan to go again and I would love to try Kappa.
